An internal tool for Licht Kunst Licht

From lighting datasheet to fixture schedule.

Photon reads a manufacturer datasheet, pulls out the specifications, lets you review them, and builds a clean, searchable Master Database from which you can export a fixture schedule, cost calculation and control schedule.

By Licht Kunst Licht. Windows desktop application.

How it works

Three steps

Extract the specifications, organise them in the Master Database, then generate the schedules the project needs.

Step 1. Extract

Datasheet in, specifications out.

Open a PDF or a product page. Photon reads it and proposes the specification fields. You review and adjust them, then add the fixture. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

  • + PDF and product URL sources
  • + Proposed fields you can edit before saving
  • + Product and dimension images kept with the fixture
Illustrative workflow preview
Illustrative only, with neutral sample data. The real extraction runs in the Photon desktop app.
Step 2. Organise

One Master Database for the project.

Every fixture sits in one searchable table. Filter by status, read the specification columns, and keep product images beside the data. Your column layout is remembered.

  • + Search across type, manufacturer and product
  • + Status filters and per-fixture images
  • + Column order, width and visibility saved
Illustrative workflow preview
Illustrative only. Searching narrows the catalog, and the real grid keeps your saved layout.
Step 3. Generate

Generate project schedules.

Turn the Master Database into the documents a project needs: a fixture schedule, control schedule and cost calculation.

  • + Fixture schedule, with specification columns
  • + Cost calculation, from the BIM schedule
  • + Control schedule, by circuit and zone
Illustrative workflow preview
Illustrative only. The real picker and settings run in the Photon desktop app, and use the full catalog.
